This site is recommended for issues concerning youth-oriented problems. The information provided on TeenLink should not be used to replace counseling or therapy. It is only intended to provide support and general information.
Do not use information found on TeenLink as a substitute for a mental health professional or other qualified health care provider. Users of the TeenLink site assume all risks and shall not hold Crisis Intervention of Houston, Inc. or its staff responsible for any and all damages, liabilities, or losses arising from or related to use of information or services offered and/or presented in or at this site or on the phone.
Statements made during online interaction by Crisis Intervention of Houston volunteers and staff do not reflect the views of Crisis Intervention of Houston, Inc. At any time, inappropriate usage of TeenLink will lead to termination of the session.

Openness
TeenLink is open to any youth or parent that needs help, no matter what race, religion, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, or point of view. TeenLink encourages diversity and will not tolerate chat about bigotry, hatred and harassment, or threats towards anyone.
Privacy
We give you control over your personal information---although we ask for some information, it is used for statistical purposes only and your privacy is guaranteed.
Your Rights
TeenLink connects you with other teens so you can talk things out during difficult times, get peer counseling, and access community resources. The internet, like any community, is not always secure. You have the right to protect yourself from harmful people or material. |
