Health There are many health care services that are free or offered on a sliding scale (based on your ability to pay). In most cases, these services are confidential. Before going to any of the following places, call and ask: What services are offered? Who can receive services? How are charges handled? Do I need to make an appointment? Do I need parental permission? The clinics listed below provide all types of health care in one location. AIDS Foundation of Houston 713-623-6796 AIDS Foundation HOTLINE 713-524-AIDS Services include case management, referrals for counseling, information, community service agencies, limited transportation and financial assistance for people with HIV, and low-income housing for HIV/ AIDS clients. Food assistance is given through AFH Stone Soup food pantry. Baylor Teen Health Clinic 713-793-3601 Services are available at no cost at Baylor’s five locations listed below. School physicals, social work services, and case management. Services are confidential and are provided to males and females 20 years old and younger.
Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services 281-447-2800 Confidential services at five locations listed below, including physical exams, health history, laboratory tests including pap smears, health education & counseling, case management, Texas Health Steps exams, child health services, immunizations, and dental care. The Baytown, Humble and Southeast Health Centers offer special after school teen clinics and counseling.
